This shelf gathers essential oils, carrier oils and diffusion accessories. These products are intended for external use, not for consumption. PURE OILS OR BLENDS. A pure essential oil contains only the plant's distillate and is named with the plant's Latin name. Blends combine several and are sold under names of their own. CARRIER OILS such as jojoba, sweet almond and fractionated coconut are used to dilute essential oils before skin contact. They come in larger bottles and cost considerably less per millilitre. BOTTLE SIZES run from 10 to 118 ml. Essential oils are dosed in drops, so a small bottle lasts a long time. STORAGE. Dark glass is standard because light degrades the oils. Storage instructions are on the bottle. USE AND WARNINGS are on every pack and should be followed. Several oils should not be applied undiluted to the skin. THE BRANDS.
