Unlike standard folic acid, which must undergo enzymatic conversion in the body, (6S)-5-MTHF is the predominant naturally occurring form of folate found in the bloodstream.

Folate contributes to normal psychological function and to the reduction of tiredness and fatigue. Each capsule provides 1,700 mcg Dietary Folate Equivalents (DFE), equating to 425% of the Daily Value, in a single, convenient dose.
