NOW Foods Krill Oil delivers 1,000 mg of premium NKO® (Neptune Krill Oil) per serving, sourced from Antarctic krill ( Euphausia superba ). Krill oil provides omega-3 fatty acids — including EPA and DHA — in a phospholipid form. EPA and DHA contribute to the normal function of the heart, with a daily intake of 250 mg EPA and DHA. DHA contributes to the maintenance of normal brain function and to the maintenance of normal vision, with a daily intake of 250 mg DHA.
Each two-softgel serving supplies 250 mg of omega-3 fatty acids (135 mg EPA and 60 mg DHA), along with 450 mg of phospholipids and 360 mcg of naturally esterified astaxanthin — a carotenoid antioxidant that occurs naturally within krill.
