Combination products with D3 and K2 are sold as softgels, tablets and drops. Both vitamins are fat-soluble, which is why they usually come in oil. THE K2 FORM DRIVES THE PRICE. MK-7 is the most common in supplements and the most expensive; MK-4 appears in a few ranges. Which form a product contains is in the ingredient list, and the amount is given in micrograms. THE RATIO. A common combination is 50–125 µg D3 with 50–200 µg K2 per serving, but the spread is wide. Compare both figures — two products with the same D3 dose can differ fourfold in K2. ALL-TRANS OR NOT. Some ranges state that their MK-7 is in all-trans form. Where that is the case it is printed on the pack. DOSAGE is stated on the pack and should be followed. THE BRANDS.
