Jarrow Formulas Reduced Glutathione 500 mg delivers a high-potency dose of glutathione in its biologically active, reduced form — the form naturally found and utilised within the body. Each vegetarian capsule provides 500 mg of OPITAC™, a premium-quality reduced glutathione manufactured by Kyowa Hakko to exacting purity and quality standards.

Glutathione is a tripeptide composed of glycine, cysteine and glutamic acid, and is one of the body's most important endogenous antioxidants. It plays a key role in supporting normal antioxidant defences at the cellular level, helping to neutralise free radicals and contributing to the protection of cells from oxidative stress — an EU-authorised function associated with antioxidant nutrients.

This formula is encapsulated in a veggie cap made from hydroxypropylmethylcellulose, making it suitable for vegans and vegetarians.
